Ingredients

• Kalanamak Rice – 1 cup (cooked & cooled)
• Boiled Masoor/Moong – ½ cup
• Cucumber – ½ cup (chopped)
• Tomato – ½ cup (chopped)
• Onion – 1 small (finely chopped)
• Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp
• Olive Oil / Mustard Oil – 1 tsp
• Salt & Black Pepper – to taste
• Fresh coriander – for garnish

Cooking Method

  • Step 1: Prepare the Rice
    Cook Kalanamak rice until fluffy. Drain excess water and allow it to cool completely.
  • Step 2: Combine the Lentils
    In a large bowl, add boiled lentils and chopped vegetables.
  • Step 3: Toss the Salad
    Add rice, lemon juice, oil, salt and pepper. Toss gently until well combined.
  • Step 4: Garnish and Serve
    Garnish with fresh coriander and serve chilled or at room temperature.
